Bill McKennariey lives with disability. His only income is the blind aged pension. He owns his relocatable home, but lives in a park where the land lease (which does not include power, water or phone) is $537 a fortnight. This will increase by $10 next July (2019). The twice yearly CPI pension increases are NOT keeping up with his real costs of living, which is of great concern to Bill – and many others – living on a fixed income.

Bill made this video to be shared at the 2018 Northern Rivers Housing Forum at Lennox Head on 11 October. This link will take you to more information about the forum and the presentations from the day.
