Social Futures has opened an office in Taree, a milestone in expanding programs and support into the Manning Valley.
The Taree office serves as the primary hub for the local Social Futures Care Connect workers.
Care Connect is an aftercare support service for people who have attempted suicide or are at risk of suicide or self-harm. Care Connect offers personalised support and can also link people to other specialist services in areas such as addiction, family relationships, clinical mental health, housing and finance.
Care Connect has established a strong presence in the Mid North Coast, and the program has been making a meaningful impact on the well-being of individuals in the community.
