Summary

Social Futures The Indie Project is a creative, music-based program that aims to build self-confidence and peer connections for the students involved.

Social Futures had a successful first term delivering The Indie Project to students at Loganlea State High School.

A highlight for The Indie Project team was supporting Loganlea SHS students in writing and recording a song called ‘Hope,’ which explores life’s challenges and the steps toward overcoming them.

The Chorus of Hope, written by the students:

“Love can be painful, don’t want to be stuck in a maze.

I want to spread my wings and let hope light my way.”

The young people said it felt like being in a real studio!

A huge thank you to the students and teachers at Loganlea State High School for an awesome first term!
