Resilient Kids – program information for service providers

The Resilient Kids program is supporting disaster recovery for young people aged 8 to 18 years in the Northern Rivers. The program provides a range of mental health and social and emotional wellbeing activities to build the capacity and resilience of flood-affected young people (aged 8–18 years) in the Northern Rivers Region. Services are available at six Wellbeing Hubs with outreach to smaller communities.

The program is being delivered under three streams:

  • Stream 1 Education and Skill Building Stream
  • Stream 2 Community Resilience Building Stream
  • Stream 3 First Nations Initiatives

This page provides information on the Community Resilience Building Stream, which provides holistic wellbeing and psychological supports to young people and their carers impacted by the 2022 floods. From here on, this stream will be referred to as Resilient Kids.

The Resilient Kids program is funded by Healthy North Coast through a grant provided by the Australian Government.
