We are committed to increasing access to safe, affordable housing for individuals and families on low incomes or income support payments, who are experiencing housing stress. 

How to access Social Housing 

To access social housing, you need to meet certain criteria set by the NSW Government. 

You may be eligible if: 

• You are at least 18 years of age.

• You live in NSW and are an Australian citizen or permanent resident. 

• You are on a low or very low income.  

• You do not own a property that you could live in.
