Mijung Jarjums – Kids in Mind

Is your child exhibiting signs of stress and anxiety when they look at the world around them?

COVID-19 has impacted the routine and stability of the lives of both our children and ourselves, and so between now and the 17th of December we will be offering a dedicated phone based support program for parents of young people who are experiencing challenges in returning to school and child care.

If you would like to access this support please email your details through to [email protected] and in the subject line note “PARENT SUPPORT” or call us on 02 6620 1896

Promoting wellbeing and resilience in our children and young people.

Mijung Jarjums Kids in Mind promotes the wellbeing of children and young people up to 18 years of age who are at risk of developing – or showing early signs of – mental illness, and their families. Non-clinical mental health services aim to reduce the risk factors and increase the protective factors that can facilitate resilience in young people.

Mijung Jarjums = Happy Kids in Bundjalung Language

We all want kids and young people to be well, happy and to lead full lives. But sometimes being a kid can be tough and there are times when we all need someone to talk to. Mijung Jarjums Kids in Mind is all about promoting wellbeing and resilience in our kids and young people. It’s about recognising when our kids need a little extra support and ensuring that those children who are vulnerable to developing mental illness, get the help and support they need.
