Volunteering & Student Placements

We value our volunteers

There are lots of ways in which you can choose to volunteer at Social Futures and you can expect to learn a lot from us by supporting the important work that we do.  Not only will you learn new skills but you will make new friends and we will strive to ensure that your experience volunteering with us is a great one.

Many of our volunteers come to us through student placements. If you would like to apply for a volunteer position or a student placement position, fill out the form below with your details and we will be in touch.

Here are a couple of frequently asked questions.

  • Working With Children Checks  Where a volunteer role is working directly with or has access to children, a Working with Children Check will be required.
  • The Length and Commitment Required  The length and type of commitment expected from volunteers will vary from role to role and can be negotiated to suit.
  • Types of Volunteer Positions  Volunteers can be involved in a range of activities from administrative assistance, events management, help with IT, program management or other areas, depending upon their expertise and experience. You can select which areas interest you most in the online application form.
