Summary

First Nations family support and early childhood workers in the Northern Rivers – this workshop is for you!

Inviting First Nations family support workers to join us on 20 September for our next Strengthening Day workshop!

Facilitated by We Al-li, the next Strengthening Day will be held on Friday 20 September, 9:30 am-4:00 pm, at Ballina Surf Club.

Strengthening Days are a healing and connection space for First Nations family support and early childhood workers, offering a culturally led space. Workers who support children and families in the Northern Rivers of NSW connect and work together to present a united voice about what Aboriginal workers need to support jarjums and families.

We encourage organisations to support First Nations staff to participate in this development opportunity.

Numbers for this FREE event are limited and registration is essential.

Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea will be provided.

Please note this is an event just for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander family support and early childhood workers.

We hope you can join us! The day is supported by Social FuturesYWCA and the NSW Department of Communities and Justice.

We Al-li provides a Culturally Informed Trauma Integrated Healing Approach (CITIHA) to training for individuals, families, communities and organisations.

It presents on informed Indigenous and non-Indigenous practices from which new theories are presently evolving. Our education and training packages move beyond the mental health services delivery model and into a socio-cultural model of health which skills and empowers workers for personal and community developmental approaches for individual and group wellbeing.
