Choices: reproductive and sexual health services

If you have questions about sexual health and don’t know who to ask, we can help

Choices Reproductive and Sexual Health, formerly known as the Lismore and Kyogle Family Planning Service, supports adolescents and adults to make choices for themselves about their reproductive and sexual health by providing high quality, confidential and professional reproductive and sexual health services. The Service provides a bulk billing service to clients seen by a doctor, clinical nurse consultations are provided at no cost to the client and contraceptive items are provided at cost price. We encourage and welcome young people, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and people on low incomes (e.g. health care card) to utilise our service in Lismore or Kyogle.

Services include:

  • Contraception information and product provision
  • Sexual health Screening test (STI testing)
  • Cervical Screening tests
  • Implanon and IUD insertion
  • Pregnancy planning, testing, information, counselling and referral
  • Gynaecological investigation and treatment
  • Fertility assessment and referral
  • Breast examinations
  • Information and medical management for menopause
  • Vasectomy information and referral
  • Disability access bed

We can provide:

  • Contraception information and product provision
  • Condoms and lubricants
  • Emergency contraceptive pills (morning-after pill)
