Elements – Youth and Family Relationships Program

Supporting you be your best and happiest self

Elements is based in Lismore. We provide free counselling services for 10 – 24 years-olds and their parents via individual and group sessions, to assist in building supportive and positive family relationships.

Your counsellor can use a range of approaches to support you to explore the different elements of your life.

We can address issues including: managing relationships, alcohol and drug misuse, mental health, anger management, grief and loss, trauma and general everyday wear and tear.  Elements also delivers healthy relationship programs to schools. Individual or groupwork sessions are normally held in Lismore.

Who can apply?

It depends on the waiting list – phone to enquire.

What is the cost?

What happens in a session?

Young people or parents can come with any issue for which they would like help.

During a counselling session we explore different elements of your life; how you relate to people and how they relate to you; how you can create a more healthy lifestyle; and how to build your skills to cope with everyday stresses.

Counselling explores new ways of thinking and behaving toward unhelpful issues to bring about healthy change and move you closer toward the life you want to live and love. Counselling can include Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mindfulness, Art Therapy as well as practical solutions.

If counselling at Social Futures is not the right solution for you, we will do our best to assist you in finding a suitable service.
