The Silver Rainbow LGBTI Aged Care Awareness Training Project will be presented in Byron Bay on Tuesday 11 September, Coffs Harbour on Tuesday 9 October and Tweed Heads on Thursday 22 November 2018.

The project is managed by the National LGBTI Health Alliance and is being delivered collaboratively with project partners across every state and territory in Australia. It is funded by the Department of Health until June 2020.

This essential and relevant one-day training for all workers in the aged care sector will help promote a better understanding of the needs of the LGBTI people and provide staff with more confidence to deliver an inclusive, best practice service.

Dates and Locations:

Byron Bay, Tuesday 11 September 2018: Byron Bay Community Centre – 69 Jonson St, Byron Bay.

Coffs Harbour, Tuesday 9 October 2018: Uniting Coffs Harbour – Level 2 27-29 Duke Street, Coffs Harbour.

Tweed Heads, Thursday 22 November 2018: Uniting Kingscliff – 24a Kingscliff Street, Kingscliff.
