Program Worker Family Connect in Schools

If you interested in supporting families, children and young people make positive changes in their life’s then this could be the job for you.We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to join our Family Connect in Schools Program at Social Futures. The position is a four to five day week role based across a number of Catholic Schools in the Macleay Valley and Hastings area, stretching from Kempsey to Laurieton, providing a soft entry point into service support for families and carers at the schools.The successful candidate will be innovative and solution focused, passionate and have great people skills. They will have a deep understanding of the challenges that families and young people face, together with extensive knowledge of referral pathway opportunities. They will provide high quality, strengths based and person centered assessments and interventions within a case management framework. The ability to build collaborative relationships within the school and work within the ethos of the Catholic Schools is essential to the position. The role will sit within the Family Connect and Support service with a highly skilled, supportive and motivated team.
