Individuals and organisations are invited to connect, share and participate in the wisdom and practice of healthy families, strong values and vibrant community culture at The Kinship Festival 2017, being held on Saturday 20 May 10am- 3pm in Knox Park Murwillumbah.
This annual Families Week gathering is designed and directed by members of the Indigenous community in collaboration with service providers to benefit all families with a sense of connection and belonging:
Service Providers are invited to create an activity or space that will engage children/families/young people: 2017 Kinship Festival Service Provider Registration Form
Local Aboriginal and Islander artists and craftspeople are invited to hold a free market stall at the event to promote the talent and creativity of the community: Kinship Festival 2017 Market Stallholder Registration
This year, the festival will be incorporating a large scale community sand, soil and ochre artwork that will be created on the day – and organisers would love everyone to be a part of this!
