Tweed Heads, April 11 @ 1pm-4pm: The crossing cultures workshop provides an opportunity to look through the diversity lens and question how cultural diversity affects us, not only in the work place but in our own everyday lives.

Target Audience: This workshop is ideal for anyone working in the Disability, Aged and Community care sector including frontline staff, team leaders and managers.

Topics covered include: What is culture?; Responding to the act of greeting; Knowing me knowing you – my own cultural profile; Is Australia the land of privilege?; How our own organisation demonstrates cultural diversity; Cultural appreciation verses cultural appropriation; and, Using translated materials.

Location: Cnr Brett St and Wharf St, Tweed Heads 2485.
