Remembering and Healing will show videos of authentic village footage of the lives and challenges of the OBC’s (‘Other Backward Castes’) of India, at Lismore City Library (Magellan St) on Thursday 29th June 2017 at 5.30pm.

Award-winning young Indian community activist and videographer Mukesh Rajak, who is himself a Dalit (a member of the Untouchable Caste) was to present his videos on the night. Unfortunately, he has had his visa to Australia denied.

This event will be presented by Rashida Joseph, his Lismore adopted mother. A Q & A session follows the videos, with a chance to discuss the fundamental human issues presented.

Entry by gold coin donation; refreshments offered afterwards.
