The Team Leader will support the YWCA’s Children and Youth Programs. The role is offered on a part time (22.8 hours per week) basis on a maximum term contract until 30 June 2019 and is based in the Lismore office.

The Team Leader, Children and Youth Programs, is responsible for the coordination and supervision of Children and Youth Programs in Northern NSW. The Children and Youth Programs suite supports children, young people and families to enjoy connected, healthy growth in a safe environment.

The person must have a proven record of fostering collegial teams of staff to build capacity and be able to provide a culturally sensitive workplace for Aboriginal People and services to the community. This role is an active CEO role, working with a small team to achieve positive outcomes for Aboriginal People within the community.

Ngulingah Local Aboriginal Land Council has a number of positions vacant and are seeking suitable applicants for: Nursery Supervisor; Housing Support Officer; and Working on Country Rangers x 2.

  1. Nursery Supervisor – 28 hrs per week – Must have commercial nursery experience
  2. Housing and Administrative Support Officer – 28 hours per week – Must have rental management experience and qualifications
  3. Working on Country Rangers x 2 – Identified Aboriginal positions; exemption is claimed under Section 8 (1) of the – Racial Discrimination Act 1975. – Qualifications and experience in Land management.
