Social Futures is a NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Partner delivering the NDIS Local Area Coordination (LAC) Transition Services in your community. These services will:

  • provide support for people with disability and their families to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (the Scheme);
  • assist people with disability, their families and carers to build and pursue their goals for a good life, exercise choice and control and engage with the Scheme; and
  • ensure that people with disability can be supported outside the Scheme by working with communities and mainstream services to build awareness and to become more inclusive of the range of needs and aspirations of people with disability

LAC Team Leaders will oversee the day to day operations of the LAC service including the development, implementation and review of Participant’s NDIS plans.  A focus of this role will include ensuring equal access to the NDIS for all Participants and potential participants across the region.  The Team Leader will have a commitment to inclusion and strong leadership skills to manage a diverse team committed to person centered practice.

  • Locations: Bathurst, Orange, Dubbo or Parkes
  • Travel thoughout the region required
Social Futures is a NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) Partner in the Community, delivering the NDIS Local Area Coordination (LAC) Services in your community. These services:
  • provide support for people with disability and their families to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (the Scheme);
  • assist people with disability, their families and carers to build and pursue their goals for a good life, exercise choice and control and engage with the Scheme; and
  • ensure that people with disability can be supported outside the Scheme by working with communities and mainstream services to build awareness and to become more inclusive of the range of needs and aspirations of people with disability

This role will be responsible for organising Local Area Coordination staff to attend initial training provided by the NDIA and for the delivery of subsequent training. Ongoing training and professional development of staff, including the management of personnel who do not meet the required competency will be the responsibility of the Workplace Trainer. The Workforce Trainer will ensure a culture of continuous learning and actively support a mobile workforce by providing structured and unstructured education, development plans and training.

The Workplace Trainer will be required to provide training within short time frames whilst also provide training and education on best practice, continuous quality improvement and high quality services.

Choices Clinic Lismore & Kyogle is a provider of women’s health and sexual and reproductive healthcare services in Northern NSW. We are seeking exceptional General Practitioners to provide professional and caring clinical care in our Centres.

You will be/have:

  • Registered General Practitioner
  • Current registration with AHPRA & ability to work in Australia
  • Have a passion for women’s health, reproductive & sexual health
  • Have medical indemnity insurance
