Don’t forget to head along to the Lismore NAIDOC celebrations – the Lismore Council’s annual event being held at the Showgrounds on Thursday 29 June.

Social Futures will be providing assistance for the Elders space (as we have done for several years now), plus we’ll have a stall promoting our programs and running activities for young people including making kites, clay and bubbles.

The NAIDOC theme this year is “Our Languages Matter” and people of all ages are invited to celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture at the annual NAIDOC Celebration Day in a day of learning, sharing, fun and friendship.
The NAIDOC Celebration Day runs from 10am to 2.30pm with a whole bunch of activities throughout the day.

See the Council’s Facebook page for full details.
