The Project Officer leads Social Futures’ Ageing and Disability Sector Support Project – working with Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP) and NSW Community Care Supports Program providers to improve capacity to deliver quality services that respond to participants’ needs and build a strong, cohesive community care system.

Opportunity for employment beyond this fixed-term contract may be considered following review of the CHSP Sector Support & Development Program.

StandBy support after suicide service is a community-based postvention program developed in response to an identified need for a coordinated community response to assist families, friends and associates who have been bereaved through suicide.

This position will assist the Program Coordinator to deliver a coordinated community response and support to people bereaved through suicide.

This position is available in either Lismore or Grafton, depending on successful applicant. Travel within the region is requirement with the use of own comprehensively insured vehicle.

headspace Tweed Heads and headspace Lismore are part of the National Youth Mental Health program, developed to help young people who are going through a hard time. We provide services to young people between the ages of 12 to 25 years. headspace Tweed Heads and headspace Lismore have consortium partnerships with relevant youth services and organisations to make it easier for young people to access services in the one place.  Social Futures is the lead agent for headspace Tweed Heads and headspace Lismore.

We are currently seeking passionate allied health professionals to work as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering psychological interventions to young people.

  • Provide psychological interventions to clients at the Facility;
  • Provide services in a conscientious, professional, competent and expeditious manner and in accordance with all appropriate standards applicable to the industry in which Social Futures operates;
  • Practice at the Facility according to a mutually agreed roster;
  • Maintain Clinical responsibility for their actions including appropriate use of and maintenance of client records
